As I look back from 60, I recognize quite a number of different 'persons' that I've been, each real and valid in the context -- and while there is a thread that runs through them... if they were standing here today, side by side, they would clearly be different personalities, many would even look quite different. And they all would make different decisions, have different reactions, to a common situation -- I'm certain of it. Yet they are all the collective me, the who that I am today.
