Relentless Repetition

Relentless Repetition

hostage to a hopeless din
of relentless repetition

clarity
held captive
in confusion’s grip

trapped in a whirl
of brute cacophony

shouts
screams
wails
bellows
stuttered stammered curses

the chatter wells
inside my head
unbearably insistent

oh
to squelch the jibberish

but
puppet does not listen

  1. Love the last line, sounds like your talking about the election!

  2. This can be read in various ways. It felt to me as conflict within the mind

  3. Very well written. I can relate to this feeling a lot.
