  1. Nice! A few words of friends and life!

  2. This is lovely. Sweet and sharp and good going down.

  3. Tumblewords –

    Thanks!

Just a simple ditty, playing off the fact that the yellow rose is a symbol of friendship. Also, the double meaning of the ‘ruby droplet’ as a being a drop of blood, which is occasionally drawn by the ‘thorns’ of friendship — and a drop of red wine, as a symbol of the blood of life, in this case, of the life of the friendship. 😉

    Thank you… 😉

    I’m pleased it was satisfying!

  5. Wonderful Haiku, ‘through thick and thin, stay and endure, like petals, like thorns’ is the message I recieved, beautiful, thank you. 😀

  6. UL –

Excellent interpretation! Certainly right to the ‘spirit’ of my piece.

    If we get hurt
    remember friendship has painful moments
    but we will remain friends

    …is another interpretation.
