Roy: “I've...seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-Beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost...in time. Like tears... In the rain.”
Deckard: "I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life... anybody's life... my life. All he'd wanted was the same answers the rest of us want. Where do I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die."

Good one!
I simply can’t think of writing a haiku
I’ve never had much luck with haiku but you make it look so easy. A beautiful poem!

oh lovely
thanks for your faithfulness
Ah yes the magic of words
How often I have been chilled by time’s tyranny. Very apt. Love the little blue jay. Awww.
Rob,
I always love the haiku form. With this piece you made me love it more. Thank you for this post. It reminds me and inspires me to write haiku again. It’s been a long while since I wrote a haiku piece.
I wish you well.
